Welcome to Sleepless Night Syndrome

As you hopefully have figured out, the lack of posts meant we were flying home.  All in, the flight went as well as we could have hoped for.  Jack only had one major meltdown on the plane (after frightening away the poor doctor who had been so unfortunately seated next to us) and otherwise was very well behaved.  He charmed (and was smitten by) the flight attendants.  The elevation changes didn't seem to bother him too much, or at least nothing a bottle couldn't fix.  No major sleeping for any of us.  Jack takes power cat naps of 30 minutes.  All three of us, me, Dr. Mommy and Jack, fell asleep over Vancouver and woke up over South Dakota.  We gave a shout out to Grandma as we streaked over Brookings.  But bottom line, we are home and doing pretty well.  Tired all around but home.  I believe the 4th of July will be renamed "the day of Child Proof Independence" at the house.
