School Birthday Party 2

So Jack's school birthday involved a GIANT cookie and 15 kids in his class decided they all needed to be around the table with the cookie...surprise, surprise. But they all did sing Happy Birthday and to boot, got Happy Birthday in Polish as well.

Home Birthday Party

It was an Elmo themed party. It was a rather small gathering, but Jackson can only handle so much stimuli at one time. Here we are learning about party hats. This stayed on for the picture and that was about that.

He loves dinosaurs and he received several.

But I think that ice cream cupcakes were the highlight of the afternoon.

We liked the balloons too, except for their tendency to POP!

School Birthday Party

Remember when you got to have 2 parties--one at school and one at home? Me neither. I have a June birthday. But luckily for Jackson he has a September birthday and friends who like sweets.

Mama and Mema brought a big cookie to share with his friends.

They all decided to sit around one table to eat it.

Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic..

So sharing Jack's math skills is hard in pictures, but counting to seven is where he is. Reading, on the other hand, is a common. Sometimes alone....

Sometimes with friends. Especially with his 'unky' PJ.

Writing, at this point, is mostly 'coloring'...but is still good times...even if dwarfed by beer.
