Acceptable Alternatives to Minnesota

Nebraska is an option Mr. Daddy thinks is perfectly fine.  'Look Dad, a football team that wins!' Dr. Mommy is contending she'll never visit....the jury is out.

So this Christmas thing, how exactly does it work?

Do I wrap myself?
Oh wait, maybe I wrap Eddie?
Yah, Jack is still confused.

Jack attempts style...part duex

If you have ever met Jack, you know the man has hair. And lots of it. In Jack's fourth month, we took him in for his THIRD hair cut. In contrast with the first two, Jack handled this one very well. Fascinated by the train he was put in? Maybe.

But as always, Jack attracts people. "No autographs! Can't you see I'm busy?"

And he also engages the adults in deep conversation. "Dear God woman! If you can't accept the idea that the long term existence of liberal democracies are dependent on both the freedom of individual output and the freedom of individuality, we have nothing to discuss!"

In the end, Jack styles....

Trip to the Motherland...Part Duex

Mr. Daddy decided it was time for a father son roadtrip.  So where else would one go on such a journey?  Of course, the land of Queens and rodents!  So off to the airport we went to see Aunt PJ.  The trip went fine, other than carrying two bags, a carrier, winter coats, a child seat, and, oh, JACK!  Given he's been on a flight before (of significantly longer distance) the flight went just fine.  Unfortunately , the football game was not quite as good as the flight.  But we had a good time.  Jack is saying "Daddy, stop cheering, we are getting our rear ended handed to us.  CHILL!"
Hey Aunt PJ, your electronics aren't protected.  Look, I can touch them!!!

Look its Eddie.  Wait, not quite.  Wrong color?  Or maybe its the eyes...
I love my Aunt.
Stocking cap?  Still not a fan of the hats regardless of which one you throw on me.

The Faces of Jack...Part Duex

Jack continues to learn new facial expressions at a rapid pace. Witness...the tongue...

What you talkn' about Willis?

Yes! I'm talking to you!
What? What? I didn't do anything. It was my sister. Really! Why the third degree?

Mr. Daddy Files His Protest

RE-VOTE!

Daddy, I don't understand, in-spite of your sign being stolen, kicked and thrown in the shrubs its still here. Why does our village not believe in the first amendment?
Strangely, no protest from Dr. Mommy.

He is a happy boy

And he really likes to eat and drink!

Happy Halloween!!

We don't know for sure that this was Jackson's first Halloween but I don't think that the holiday is big in Korea and even if it is, he would have only been a few weeks this time last year.  He had a very eventful Halloween week and seemed to enjoy all of the festivities.

You can't really tell in this picture but the Dracula on his shirt has red lights on it.  He stared at his shirt for several minutes when I put in on and all of the kids at My Gym found it to be very interesting as well.  Thank you Wilburns!

We were a little late getting the pumpkin but we did manage to still find one during the week of Halloween.  It was chilly that day and Jackson has on his new winter coat.  It is so long that he has trouble moving around in it.

On Wednesday he was picking out his Halloween pumpkin in his winter coat, and on Friday he is running around in shorts.  Here Jackson is dressed as Super Baby.  As the evening got cooler he changed into his skeleton sweat-suit.  Rest of the kids thought it was pretty cool that he had two costumes.

There are alot of kids in our neighborhood.  Here are a few.

Jackson did get to trick-or-treat even though he did not get to eat much candy.  Here he is trying to figure this whole thing out with one of our neighbors.
