Jackson and Friends

Here Jackson is playing with the children of my oldest and dearest friend.
We got to go to the zoo this lovely and warm day in November. Fall in the midwest is always interesting and exciting at least concerning the weather.

Summer Revisited

Now that its cold outside, thought it would be worth re-visiting some summer Jack antics. "Look Dr. Mommy, NO HANDS!"
"Look Dr. Mommy, Mr. Daddy can't see!"
Who's got the hat? Oh yah! Jack's got the hat.

Homecoming Flashback

So I don't think we ever posted on homecoming but we visited the 'Hall of All Things Gold' and Jack clearly fit in.

He did at one point find the button that played the Rouser. So we had to 'Play it Again!' 'Again!'
"Please?"

Mr. Daddy and Aunt PJ do the Goophers

So who wouldn't want to see the Golden Goophers play your hometown college as their final home game of the season? Since Mr. Daddy had to go back to the Mother-land for something else, he and Aunt PJ shoved in a quick visit to the land of little rodents to see just such a match up.
And of course, nobody mentioned that the 3rd largest video board in sports was made back at the opposing football team's backyard...

And even though we shouldn't have won, we had a good time...

So after a terrible football game, why not follow up with the only good team at school? And of course, who wouldn't want to see Goldy passed up the student section?
And in the end, Mr. Daddy got to hang with Goldy...
Of course, would PJ and PJ stop at two Goopher games? Heck no! Tuesday: the heated Stephen F Austin invades Tubyland...PJ^2 will be there.

Trick or Treating!!

Even with the promise of candy, Jackson still didn't like the idea of wearing the "scary" pumpkin. Unfortunately, this meant that Mr. Daddy had to wrestle him into it.
Although Dr. Mommy, Mema and Papa were a little leery of Mr. Daddy's methods, after a Tootsie Roll and finding out that Trick or Treating did indeed involve candy, Jackson did have a good time.

Obi enjoyed it too, but it was a bit chilly for her.
He loved picking out which candy he wanted. He would then show it to the person offering it to see if they approved.
What will he dress up as next year?

I don't like it, scary

His costume was just a T-shirt, but still, he was not real excited to wear it. But doesn't he look cute?
Here are other 2 Jack'o'lanterns.

Hay-rides and Hot Ciders

Actually we could not find any hot ciders but here is Jackson, Unky Matt and Aunt Mel on the very fun hay-ride. The trailer was pulled by a tractor so that make the ride even better.
This kid looks like he is advertising pumpkin patches.
Oh, here is the real Jackson.

We took several of these pictures. He kept pulling his head in right when i would try to take the picture.
Unky Matt and Jackson feeding the horse corn.
. . .warming our hands by the campfire.

Boo at the Zoo

We are a bit behind on our posts but here we are a few weeks ago at the Columbus Zoo with Unky Matt and Aunt Mel.
Although we have a great zoo near our home, the Columbus Zoo is also really, really cool. It was a little chilly that day and Jackson did not sleep the night before so we didn't get to see everything, but we will definately be back this summer.
Jackson really enjoyed his time at the zoo.

Here we are riding a lizard.
