More friends. . .

At another stop on our trip, we visited some friends that we have known since high school.  We went to  fundraiser where they let the kids get into all different types of vehicles.  Here Jackson is in an ambulance.

And a firetruck .  .  .

Here he is getting a tattoo. . .

Here are Kate and Benji trying out the police motorcycle.

And Jackson and Mr. Daddy.

If you look really closely, you can see Jackson and Mr. Daddy sticking their heads out of the top of the police hummer.

And the police car . . . He likes police vehicles.

After the festivities at "Touch a Truck" we went back to the Bares and hung out in their fenced in backyard.

Reconnecting with old friends

When we were in China we met a couple who were adopting a daughter just a few months older than the girls.  They were not with our agency but were staying at our hotels and we got on.  They live in Connecticut and so we decided to see if we could see them while we were on the East Coast.  Here the girls are with Maisie.

Here the girls are with their older brothers.

Plymouth

So I took the family (mostly unwillingly) to Plymouth.  I had fun but it was very hot (90-something).

Some time I am going to do a post just of the girls sleeping in their strollers at museums, aquariums, historical sites and the like.

Jackson is inside that hut.  He just cut in front of that long line and they let him.

Here he is watching one of the men in the village carve a log into a boat.  He was very interested.

There are no pictures of Addison.  Did she somehow get out of this wonderful adventure?  No, she was sleeping in her stroller with Mr. Daddy who was on a conference call.

The New England Aquarium

Okay, so I don't have a lot of pictures of the kids at the aquarium because most of them would look like this. . . .

And this . . . .

Boston Commons

Mr. Daddy had a break in his schedule so we walked over to Boston Commons to burn off some energy.  Jackson had Reagan were rolling around in the grass and a tourist took their picture.  That was kinda weird.

The Boston Children's Museum

Here we were "excitedly" listening to the musical act.

We brought a babysitter with us who took Jackson around to all of the exhibits.  The girls and I spent most of our time in the toddler room where little people could not run far.

The last time I took Jackson to this museum, Jackson spent a lot of time in the construction room.

He did this time too.  Doesn't he look old compared to the pictures above!

At this point Addison had fallen asleep so Reagan was chasing brother around.

She thought Jackson driving the front-end loader was really cool

Addison was beat.
