Jackson trying on a new snowsuit

You don't really get the full effect of Jackson's bubble butt in this suit but it is adorable.

Behind the Scenes

For the second year we have featured Jackson and Eddie on our Christmas card.  (If you haven't gotten one yet, it is still in the mail.  We were a bit tardy this year.)  As you can guess, getting a 2 year old and a cat to pose together is not an easy task.  Therefore, there are many shots before getting the "right one."  Thank the gods for digital photography.  Here are a few of the behind the scenes photos during the "Christmas card shoot."

Eddie is in the photo.  He is hiding behind the tree.

Here at least they are in the vicinity of one another.

Jackson doing his best imitation of an angel.

Good picture, nice chocolate on your chin.

Eddie giving kisses.

Eddie ignoring Jackson.

Eddie smelling Jackson's hat.  (We had to bribe Jackson with ice cream to wear the hat.)

Little Gophers

One of our greatest joys is that we are still in contact with so many of our college friends.  We all had different majors, lived in different dorms, and had many different interests.  But we all had so much fun together and we still do.  And now there is a second generation.  Here is Cal, Jackson and Savannah at the Minnesota Children's Museum playing in the water room.

Jack's Love with Sugar

So as trick or treats deplete, we have to find new stuff for Jack. But in the mean time, some chocolate bars have found a new fan...
Did I eat too much?
Oh, I should have stopped shouldn't I have?
Looks like I'm good! More treats?

Jack does Mr. Daddy...II

So Mr. Daddy just returned from the land of Goophers and had been wearing his newest Goopher tie. So Jack decided he needed to wear it. Say Cheese!

Jack's Favorite Game?

Why 'I'm taking a nap now' of course!

Post Thanksgiving Fun

So after eating too much turkey (or in Jack's case, none since the meal came smack in the middle of lunch and dinner and thus Jack told us 'No thanks. I'm full'. Seriously), we headed next door for some more food of course! And since he's fed up with us, we let Miss Kim handle that.
And then some quality TV time with Miss Violet...

Hats of Jack...II

So Mr. Daddy was up in the Motherland and picked up Jack a new hat. We think it makes him look quite cute.
Hey, who doesn't need a M helmet?
Cheese!
I said Cheese!

Popsicles of Jack

So how many food posts has Jack done? Well, in many ways, it never ends. Lately, he's grown to love popsicles. Hmmmm....
Wanna bite Mr. Daddy?
If you don't wear it, you don't love it.

Hats of Jack

So Jack loves his hats. And of course, the best is if he can use stuff from the kitchen...
Where did Jack go?

Jackson and Friends

Here Jackson is playing with the children of my oldest and dearest friend.
We got to go to the zoo this lovely and warm day in November. Fall in the midwest is always interesting and exciting at least concerning the weather.

Summer Revisited

Now that its cold outside, thought it would be worth re-visiting some summer Jack antics. "Look Dr. Mommy, NO HANDS!"
"Look Dr. Mommy, Mr. Daddy can't see!"
Who's got the hat? Oh yah! Jack's got the hat.

Homecoming Flashback

So I don't think we ever posted on homecoming but we visited the 'Hall of All Things Gold' and Jack clearly fit in.

He did at one point find the button that played the Rouser. So we had to 'Play it Again!' 'Again!'
"Please?"

Mr. Daddy and Aunt PJ do the Goophers

So who wouldn't want to see the Golden Goophers play your hometown college as their final home game of the season? Since Mr. Daddy had to go back to the Mother-land for something else, he and Aunt PJ shoved in a quick visit to the land of little rodents to see just such a match up.
And of course, nobody mentioned that the 3rd largest video board in sports was made back at the opposing football team's backyard...

And even though we shouldn't have won, we had a good time...

So after a terrible football game, why not follow up with the only good team at school? And of course, who wouldn't want to see Goldy passed up the student section?
And in the end, Mr. Daddy got to hang with Goldy...
Of course, would PJ and PJ stop at two Goopher games? Heck no! Tuesday: the heated Stephen F Austin invades Tubyland...PJ^2 will be there.

Trick or Treating!!

Even with the promise of candy, Jackson still didn't like the idea of wearing the "scary" pumpkin. Unfortunately, this meant that Mr. Daddy had to wrestle him into it.
Although Dr. Mommy, Mema and Papa were a little leery of Mr. Daddy's methods, after a Tootsie Roll and finding out that Trick or Treating did indeed involve candy, Jackson did have a good time.

Obi enjoyed it too, but it was a bit chilly for her.
He loved picking out which candy he wanted. He would then show it to the person offering it to see if they approved.
What will he dress up as next year?
