Update on Jackson's sister

I am sure some of you are wondering what is up with our adoption from China. I find that friends don't want to ask because they know the answer can't be good or we would have said something. Well, the upshot is this, we are still in line, still waiting. It has been about 5.5 years. We had hoped to hear something this spring. We even told some of you that, but with every monthly update we get, they match fewer and fewer kids. By current numbers we should be matched this summer and will travel to China around 3 months after that. This assumes, of course, that things don't get drastically slower. So this has been hard, but Jackson makes it easier. He says he is going to take her to the zoo and he is going to teach her how to ice skate. So that is the skinny. You'll know more when we know more.

More Christmas Clean Up

After Christmas day we still had celebrating to do. Julie had never built a ginger bread house before so Jackson obliged. Some of the candy and icing actually did end up on the house.
