Independence

In the morning, Jackson usually watches a couple of shows while I shower and get dressed.  Today I was in the shower and i hear the pitter-patter of little feet.  I turn off the shower and inquire what Jackson is up to.  He says that he went to wash his hands.  I asked him why? what did you get on your hands?  He says nothing.  Well, Jackson is not big into washing his hands especially for no reason.  I put my glasses on and see that Jackson has lotion all over the front of his pajamas, his hands and his face.  We get cleaned up and then i realize there is lotion all over the bed, the floor, daddy's towel and who knows where else.  Apparently, he "got too much."  (Those are his words; i would say he spilt it all over the bed and then ran around trying to clean up.)  It was an accident, he tried to clean up, so there was no yelling--just discussions about not doing that again.  He then went and put his clothes on by himself.  He said, he didn't "want to see my privacy" while I got dressed.  So that was my morning.
